High Adventure 2013 - Grey's River, Wyoming

I was fortunate to go on a young men's high adventure with the young men. We went to the Grey's River in Wyoming. This was a 4 day, 4 night backpacking excursion into the high country of the Salt River Range of mountains that are just east of Afton and Star Valley, Wyoming.

We were to hike up to Corral Creek Lake about 9 miles from the Grey's River road on day 1, then from there to Crow Creek lake about 5 miles north on day 2, stay there for a day, then hike out along Crow Creek about 5 miles on Saturday. However, after the grueling first 9 miles to Corral Creek Lake, it was decided to return back to the car, find a campsite along the Grey's and fish and play in the river. We also went to a popular lake and fishing spot called Murphy Lakes, where we had fairly good fishing. The first and the last night we were definitely spoiled as we stayed in a well appointed cabin in Star Valley Ranch.

Here are some of the photo highlights of the trip along in a slideshow. Enjoy!
